The true value of Hokusai Art, 36 views of Togashi
Katsushika Hokusai was active in many fields, including actor paintings and reading illustrations.
He also studied a wide range of Chinese and Western techniques, and made full use of shadow and perspective methods.
Scenic paintings will eventually include the “Thirty-six Views of Togashi”, which includes the masterpiece “Kaifu Sunny” (Akafuji).
It was a great success. Hokusai’s work has had a major impact on Western painters
Is still one of the most famous Japanese painters in the world.
Condition :
The print it self is in good condition. Good hard colors in the magnolia. At the back there are some left over glue, from where it was connected to the folder.
