Original woodblock print – Fu Takenaka (b. 1945) – Golden Temple – Washi paper – Temple – Kinkaku-ji temple, late winter – Signed and numbered in pencil by the artist 98/200 – Japan – Heisei period (1989-2019)

Fu Takenaka was born in 1945. She worked for a design company and started late with printmaking, in 2003. The artist works in the technique of the Japanese woodblock print. Fu Takenaka is a member of the Japanese artist association Nihon Hanga-in and well known in Japan.

The Rokuonji Temple, better known by the nickname Kinkaku-ji, is a temple in Kyoto. With its Golden Pavilion that appears to float on the water, the temple is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Japan.

This is a new original print. Never been framed. Beautiful detail in the last mountain range. This is pressed in the paper. See the pictures.
